Best Roller Coaster in Las Vegas

**Best Roller Coaster in Las Vegas**

There are many roller coaster rides available for the thrill seekers in Las Vegas. Some will rattle your bones, others will get you screaming for more! But there is only 1 roller coaster which is the best, and for a good reason.
Let’s see if you all agree...
Las Vegas Roller Coaster
NY NY Roller Coaster Loop

Vegas Roller Coaster

It is hard to narrow down the field to chose the best roller coaster in Las Vegas. They are all unique in their own way, and all very enjoyable to ride. But the one I have chosen to be the best, is for a good reason. It is the only Las Vegas Roller Coaster which is situated OUTSIDE of a hotel! Yes, the New York New York Roller Coaster for me, is by far the best roller coaster in Las Vegas today.

New York New York Roller Coaster Facts:
  • Length : 4,777 feet
  • Maximum Height : 203 feet
  • Biggest Drop : 144 feet
  • Maximum Speed : 67 miles per hour
  • Ride Duration : 2 minutes, 45 seconds
  • Opening Times : 11:00am to 11:00pm Monday to Thursday, and Sunday, and 11:00am to 12am Friday and Saturday
  • Cost : $14 per person, $7 for second-time riders if purchased at the same time.

The cars on this Vegas roller coaster are made to look like a genuine New York City cab, and make you feel like you are hurtling through the city of New York, as you travel around the outside of the hotel - which is made to look like New York City itself!

From the very first seconds on the ride, you start to climb a steep hill, over-looking the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. The views alone make this the best roller coaster in Las Vegas, but blink and you will miss it! As soon as you reach the top, you plummet 144 feet, entering loops, corkscrews and hills - all at a speed of 67 miles per hour! On top of all of this adrenaline rush, you also encounter a 180 degree heartline spiral - which is sure to make you hold on as tight as possible!

Roller Coasters in Las Vegas

There are 3 other roller coasters in Las Vegas which need to be mentioned. 2 of these are found at the Circus Circus Adventure Dome inside the hotel, and the third is actually about 40 miles away from the Strip itself - but a must if you have a car!
