**Las Vegas Free Things**

Las Vegas doesn’t have to all be about spending money. There are many places and things you can see for free! There is a great range of attractions for the whole family, and you won’t have to spend a penny to see them!
Below is a list of the best free attractions in my opinion, and where you can find them. Enjoy!

What to do in Las Vegas for Free

With many places in Las Vegas willing to take your money from you, it may come to a shock to some people that a lot of these places offer you something for free! Places where you can watch and relax, safe in the knowledge that your wallet can remain firmly closed.

One of the most beautiful conservatories in the world, the Bellagio stuns its visitors every day, with 5 seasonal displays, featuring over 10,000 flowers - all of which are watered by hand!
For Chinese New Year, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, the 120 or so gardeners will create stunning displays for the 5 million visitors to marvel over.
With 14,000 square feet of space to play with, the designers produce spectacular displays with flowers, trees and plants - and re-cycle around 90% of the old flowers, by turning them into mulch.
Location: The Bellagio Hotel and Casino
Operating Times : 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Cost : FREE

Everyone love a circus, and most people would pay to go to one. But at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, you won't have to!
The hotel holds the record for having the largest permanent circus, and shows death-defying stunts, acrobatic routines and jugglers to name a few. With a 60 seat area to watch the circus from, you will need to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you can sit down - but you can even stand around and watch, such is the layout. Free acts which you cannot miss!
Location : The Circus Circus Hotel and Casino
Operating Times : Monday to Sunday, 11:00am until 11:00pm (12:00am on Fridays and Saturdays.) Each show is around 10 minutes long at half hour intervals.
Cost : FREE

Featuring water, fire and nine-foot tall talking statues - the Fall of Atlantis is something you may find on Broadway - not in a shopping mall! But this is exactly where you will find it!
The main story line is about which of King Atlas' sons will rule the throne of Atlantis, and tells the story of the two sons arguing over who will be better!
It can get very crowded around the show, and it is always best to get there a while before the show starts. Don't worry about being there too early though - as you can view a 50,000 gallon aquarium, and watch around 300 salt-water fish swimming around. This is a definite must for you to see.
Location : The Forum Shoppes at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino
Operating Times : Monday to Sunday, 11:00am until 11:00pm (12:00am on Fridays and Saturdays.) The show runs on the hour.
Cost : FREE

With an 8.5 acre lake, and 1,214 jets rocketing water 460 foot in to the air, the Fountains of Bellagio will take your breath away! With more than 30 different songs, each show is choreographed to perfection - and is different depending on the song!
As each show is different, you can always hang around the beautiful lake, and wait until the next show - or head back each day at a different time to catch something new.
One of the best places to witness the show is by standing in the middle of the lake area, but that is just my personal opinion!
Location : Outside The Bellagio Hotel and Casino
Operating Times : Monday to Friday, every half hour from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, and then every 15 minutes until midnight. Saturdays and Holidays, every half hour from noon until 8:00pm, and then every 15 minutes until midnight. Sundays, every half hour from 11:00am until 7:00pm, and then every 15 minutes until midnight.
Cost : FREE

From the very first rumble, the atmosphere around the Volcano changes. And from that initial rumbling, comes music and fire, culminating in 12 foot fireballs and fire on the lake. The Volcano at the Mirage is something truly memorising. Thanks to a $25 million re-design in 2008, The Volcano looks and sounds spectacular. A must see for anyone visiting Las Vegas.
Location : Outside The Mirage Hotel and Casino
Operating Times : Sunday to Thursday, 8:00pm and 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday, 8:00pm, 9:00pm and 10:00pm
Cost : FREE

Waterfalls, steams and grasslands are found at the Flamingo Casinos gardens, where a variety of exotic ducks and birds are found - as well as a Flamingo or two! The Wildlife Habitat is a peaceful tranquillity away from the bustling Vegas Strip, and can take you along winding walkways alongside waterfalls and streams which contain turtles in the summer months, and Koi Carp among others all year round. A must visit place to relax in the sun.
