CAN KIDS GO TO LAS VEGAS?
Written by Gary Evans | whatsyourlasvegas.com
"Why can kids go to Las Vegas?" "Isn't Vegas for adults only?" This is all I ever get asked from people! But to be honest, I don't blame them for asking!
Las Vegas has the reputation of the "Adults Only" playground, where anyone under the age of 21 should stay at home.
But for me, this is not true.
Yes,Vegas IS a place where adults rule. The gambling, the drinking, the clubbing. But this isn't JUST what Las Vegas is about.
As a family, you can still have plenty of fun in Las Vegas with your children.
Granted, the place has taken away a lot of things which were designed for the children in order to open more adult features. This is so the place can make more money!
But there are still plenty of things for those under 21's to do.

Why Can Kids Go To Las Vegas?
Let me rephrase this question: Why SHOULDN'T kids go to Las Vegas? I mean, adults go to Disney World without children?!
There are many things you can do with your children or young adults in Vegas. And a few of them are even FREE!
So before you write off Las Vegas as a family destination, let us take a look at why you can bring kids to Las Vegas with you.
Hershey's Chocolate World
Can kids go to Las Vegas and get chocolate? YES!
One of the first places you should visit with anyone under the age of 21 is Hershey's Chocolate World, situated at the New York New York Hotel.

With more than 800 Hershey's chocolates and candies, this is the West Coasts Flagship Store.
The Big Apple Roller Coaster
Can kids go to Las Vegas for rides? YES!
For me, this is one of the best roller coasters in Las Vegas!
With a maximum speed of 67 mph and a 144 foot drop, you are sure to love this ride.
For $17 adult, and $15 child tickets available, you will regret not riding the New York New York roller coaster around the outside of the hotel!
And as soon as you have finished your ride, the fun can continue with the children's arcade.

Siegfried and Roy Secret Garden
Can kids go to Las Vegas for a zoo? YES!
One of my favourite places in Las Vegas!
Not only can you find white tigers and lions, but you also have the chance to see the dolphins!
This place will always have a place in my heart, as there is a wishing tree situated within the gardens. Now I don't believe in things like that normally, but I did make 2 wishes on 2 different visits.
The first was to find myself a future, and the second was to have a little boy.
Both wishes came true!
For just $22 per adult, and $17 per child with under 3's free, make sure you book your place now!
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas
Can kids go to Las Vegas and see famous people? YES!
Everyone loves a Madame Tussauds! It is one of those places where you can get up close and personal with celebrities!
At just $21.95 for 4-12 year olds, and $31.95 for 13+, this is well worth a visit.
And now with a Marvel 4D Theater, you will be able to help with Avengers save Las Vegas from destruction!

So Can Kids Go To Las Vegas?
The simple answer is YES!
As long as you remember that under 21's are not allowed to loiter in the Casino areas, or enter any place where you drink alcohol, then you are fine.
Las Vegas should be ideal for all the family, from the young to the elderly.
The list above is just a handful of things which you can enjoy with your children.
If you book a day trip to the Hover Dam and the Grand Canyon on top of doing all this, and throw a few of the other freebies in, you will definitely be able to enjoy at least 5 or more days in Vegas.
